Australian Adventure: Week 40, April 23-29, 2023

Welcome back to week 40 of the blog! We have been living in Australia for 10 months now. This week we spent time at the beach, went to the Australia Zoo, and the casino.

On Sunday, we had a slow start to the day watching the Leafs game with some eggs benedict. In the afternoon, we met some friends at Cru Wine Bar for some drinks on the patio.

On Monday, we went to Paw Paw Cafe for breakfast where we had our engagement photo put onto a coffee! It was so cool.

Later in the day Webster caught some waves at a new beach on the Gold Coast.

On Tuesday, we spent the day at the Australia Zoo! We had an early start to get there right when the zoo opened. We spent the day watching awesome shows, looking at unique animals, and walking around the grounds. Some of our favourite activities were the tiger show, the crocodile show, and the Tasmanian devils!

On Wednesday and Thursday, we had a few busy days at school and work. We got a Hello Fresh box delivered and had some fun making the meals.

On Friday, Webster played golf with some new friends. It was a beautiful day!

On Saturday we went to the Treasury Casino. We signed up to be casino members which got us a free drink, a $19.95 filet mignon steak dinner, and other freebies! We happily spent $5 on the penny slots and enjoyed a few hours of cheap-fun!

This week we are headed back to the beach, out for trivia, and to a comedy show. Thanks for following along with the blog - we only have two months left in Australia so we are making the most of every week!
