This week I visited a few museums, had a latte at a pink cafe, and went for a few bike rides!

On Monday, I biked to my favourite store...Primark! It is quite a far bike ride, but worth it for the great deals. I promised myself that this would be the last time I went shopping at Primark so I spent about thirty minutes wandering through the store. There was hardly anyone there so it was nice to have the store to myself.

On Tuesday, I had a quiet day, packing up some things and getting my laundry done. It was 35 degrees with 45% humidity so I spent the day drinking lots of water and hiding from the sun!

On Wednesday, I braved the public world and went to the Natural History Museum. It was such a hot, humid day. The museum was operating at a much smaller capacity, they had timed tickets, one-way routes, and of course masks were mandatory. I wandered through the dinosaurs and gemstones routes and then headed out because it was just too hot.

On Thursday, Webster and I had our weekly date night!

On Friday, I ventured out to EL&N on Brompton Road, a cafe decorated entirely in pink! I had a lucky charms latte and enjoyed the air conditioning.

On Saturday I got my grocery delivery and had homemade bao for dinner. They weren't as good as the ones from my favourite bao restaurant, Belly Bao in Sydney, but they were pretty good for a homemade meal.

On Sunday, I woke up bright and early to head to the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. I was really impressed with how they managed all the visitors. I had a timed ticket and capacities were obviously much lower than usual. At most points I had the entire gallery room to myself, and when others were around, staff were great at giving reminders about social distancing. Masks were mandatory and I followed a one way route throughout the exhibits. Overall it was a great way to spend my morning and I felt really safe throughout my visit.

This week I am going to get pizza at Franco Manca, visit Pimlico, where Webster and I lived in 2018, and head out on a few bike rides.

Thanks for following along! Only two more weeks until I'm back on Canadian soil!
