This week I went on a few bike rides and made the most of the Eat Out to Help Out program.

On Monday, I biked to my favourite burger place, Five Guys. The Eat Out to Help Out program was up and running, meaning 50% of my meal was subsidized by the government to encourage spending. I biked to Five Guys then brought it home to enjoy with some Netflix.

On Tuesday, I went for another bike ride to Covent Garden. I love Covent Garden because of all the little shops and restaurants in the area. To my surprise, most of the shops were open...but there was hardly anyone around! It felt a bit odd to be there alone so I wandered around for a little bit and then continued on my ride.

On Wednesday, Webster and I had our weekly date night. He had lunch and I had dinner while we played virtual Scattegories. Only a few more weeks of virtual date night!

On Thursday I spent some time making the most of the sunshine and walked along the river. Of course I stopped at the London Eye for some photos!

On Friday, I went for another walk despite the heat ... it was 35 degrees in London, unheard of! I ended up at Westminster Abbey. I am so thankful to live so centrally here in London, it makes my daily walks more like sightseeing tours.

On Saturday I finally had my favourite London treat - Blondies edible cookie dough! It was worth the bike ride to get and I savoured every bite!

On Sunday, I spent the evening organizing myself for the week ahead. I got some laundry done, prepped some meals, and caught up on my Netflix shows.
This week I am going to take advantage of the "Eat Out to Help Out" program again. I am also going to go check out a few museums as masks are now mandatory in those spaces.
Thanks for following along!
