This week I worked a ton and took some long walks/bike rides along the river.
Monday, July 20, 2020
On Monday, I had a busy day followed by some take out! I ordered in Honest Burgers (again!) and watched some Netflix.
Tuesday, July 21, 2020
On Tuesday, I biked to my favourite market in London, Borough Market! I went just before lunch hoping to avoid any crowds and picked up my favourite donuts from Bread Ahead. It was a great bike ride across the river and then through the city. Thankfully my donuts made it home with little damage :)
Wednesday, July 22, 2020
On Wednesday we had another sunny day so I walked along the river to Shakespeare's Globe. Although the real Globe isn't standing today, this is a reconstruction (or replica) of what it would have looked like when it was built in 1599.
On Wednesday night, Webster and I had our virtual date night. We played Scattegories, Uno, and Pictionary! We are so thankful for technology that keeps us connected while we are 5000km apart!

On Thursday I biked along the river to St.Paul's Cathedral. I walked across Millennium Bridge and got some great photos! It was a beautiful, sunny day - a rare occurrence!

On Friday, I finally went shopping! Masks became mandatory in stores in England so I felt like it was a safer time to do some browsing. I arrived at TK Maxx (British version of Winners) at 10:02, after they unlocked the doors. First, I went to the TK Maxx location in Covent Garden but didn't have any luck, so I walked a bit further toward Oxford Street, and found another location...needless to say I found a few treasures!

On Saturday I had a busy day followed by some grocery shopping in the evening. I walked to Marks & Spencer to pick up a few things. Now that masks are required, I feel much better popping into a store to get a few things until my next grocery delivery.

On Sunday, I had a busy day followed by a quiet evening. I watched some Netflix, chatted with Webster, and prepped some meals for the week.
This week I am going to do some more shopping, go for a bike ride (or two!) and visit some markets.
